Amanda Prior

I am Amanda Prior a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I have experience working with at risk youth, children, adults, families, and couples. My experience has been working in a residential setting as well as private practice. I have completed my education and continue training to work on a professional level to help you. In addition, I too have had my own challenges and life experiences so I know how difficult working on ourselves can be. I have a deep appreciation for the courage that it takes to seek help and to start therapy. Talking about our feelings, experiences and thoughts can be extremely hard. I take pride in providing a safe, calm trusting space to build a rapport naturally. We will work through your experiences and issues at your pace. I have found that this allows you to feel open and comfortable sharing the emotional load you have been carrying. Therapy is not a ‘one size fits all.’ We will work together to customize your needs and goals. I have a passion for those struggling with boundaries, conflict resolution, family struggles, communication, and poor coping skills. If you find that you too struggle in some of these areas, I may be a good fit. My strength is meeting you where you are in life and working from there to meet the goals you are looking to achieve in your therapeutic experience.
