About
Hi, I’m Jenn, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a background in both individual and systems-focused therapy. I’m especially drawn to helping people untangle long-standing emotional patterns, anxiety, and trauma in a way that feels steady, respectful, and deeply human. I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health and Marriage and Family Counseling from Barry University and later trained in EMDR, which I often integrate into my work. Over the years, I’ve supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, substance use, and major life transitions. I spent 15 years living abroad, which shaped how I understand identity, resilience, and belonging. I’m fluent in English and Spanish and value therapy that honors culture, language, and the many ways people make sense of their world. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and gently creative. I incorporate mindfulness and somatic awareness to help calm the nervous system and access insight that lives beyond words. You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly organized story or clear answers, we begin where you are. Please book a free consult via my website, email or call. Specialties: I specialize in working with anxiety, addiction, and ADHD. In our sessions, we'll focus on understanding what's driving your symptoms and how they show up in daily life. Together, we'll build practical tools to help you feel more in control, reduce overwhelm, and create steadier patterns that support long-term change.
"I often integrate EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic approaches in my work. In our first session, we'll talk about what brought you to therapy and decide together what feels most supportive. These approaches help you gently process past experiences, tune into your body's signals, and build present-moment awareness so healing can happen in a way that feels grounded, steady, and lasting."
