About
I have spent years working with individuals and helping them through anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship troubles. Often co-occurring disorders live just under the surface and make it hard to sustain a life of meaning and purpose. When these issues are addressed, true healing is possible. I love to assist people in discovering their true self by working through their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. My practice incorporates the behavioral sciences by utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavior therapy, and DBT in order to promote emotional healing and spiritual wholeness. My goal is to provide the client with the coping skills needed to face life's challenges without turning to outside sources. Credentials & Experience: I am also licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina
"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better."
