About
Many people reach out for therapy when life feels heavy — when anxiety, depression, grief, stress, or panic attacks begin to affect daily life or lead to emotional overwhelm. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or worn down by everything you’ve been carrying, you’re not alone. I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions with a calm, steady, supportive approach. Together we'll build coping skills and create meaningful change. I offer in-person counseling in Newark and Middletown and telehealth therapy throughout Delaware in New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties. My approach is calm and supportive. I use CBT and DBT to help adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions by strengthening communication and coping skills. Therapy offers space to feel understood, find clarity, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right. You don’t have to go through this alone. Our sessions offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore what you’re feeling and find new ways forward. Early sessions focus on understanding your experiences, then building practical skills to help you feel more balanced and empowered. Specialties: I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions with a supportive, practical approach. Together, we build coping skills, strengthen self esteem, and create meaningful change so you can feel more grounded, connected, and empowered. Credentials & Experience: I am a Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health in Delaware, supervised by Susan Katzmire. I have both inpatient and outpatient experience, along with training in CBT, DBT, and couples therapy.
