About
Do you struggle with anxiety, trauma, grief, or painful past experiences that continue to affect your relationships, emotions, and day-to-day life? Do you feel overwhelmed by constant stress, people-pleasing, emotional numbness, or patterns that keep repeating no matter how hard you try to move forward? Do you wonder if life could feel calmer, more connected, and less controlled by the past? I believe people shouldn’t have to stay stuck in survival mode or continue carrying unresolved trauma alone. In therapy, I provide structured, trauma-focused treatment for adults using EMDR therapy to help process painful experiences and DBT sk I start by building coping skills to help you feel safe & more confident managing emotions. We explore the ways past experiences may still be impacting you. Finally, we work to resolve & release those experiences so you can move forward. I provide a safe & supportive space, offer evidence-based treatments, & bring over 11 years of experience. I begin by helping you build coping skills so you can feel safer and better manage difficult emotions and stress. Together, we explore how trauma, anxiety, grief, or painful past experiences may still affect your relationships and self-esteem. Using EMDR and DBT skills, we work to help you move forward with greater emotional balance and connection. Specialties: I help people struggling with any form of PTSD. I start with a strength's perspective, identifying all the positive aspects of someone's life. These are used to build a foundation upon which the person can feel confident addressing their trauma. I incorporate EMDR therapy to help my clients reprocess memories that are contributing to current problems. I help my clients find freedom from their past Credentials & Experience: I also hold a license in Delaware and can accept clients from Delaware.
"I primarily used Eye Movement Desensitzation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy to help those I work with resolve ways the past is impacting them in the present. I also use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with my clients to increase mindfulness skills, improve their relationship habits, and learn to better regulate difficult emotions."
