Tamanique Byrd

Tamanique Byrd, LICSW is a down to earth therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to meet the client where they are, and help them get to where they want to be. She utilizes various techniques that are tailored to the specific needs of the client. Tamanique uses empathetic collaboration to help her clients reach their goals, and helps them build on their strengths so they can become who they want to be. She also provides professional supervision to pre-licensed clinical professionals, and is accepting new supervisees. Tamanique utilizes the following theoretical orientations: psychodynamic theory, systems theory, strengths perspective, solution focused, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral theory, trauma based interventions, feminist theory, and more. For supervision she utilizes a reflective supervision approach. Credentials & Experience: Our practice is licensed in CT and MA. We accept clients from both states.
