About
I've spent over a decade in the social work field, and it's genuinely been my calling. My experience spans helping parents strengthen their understanding of attachment, supporting foster and adoptive families, working with young adults on the autism spectrum, and guiding clients through depression and anxiety. What drives me is simple — I truly enjoy helping people, and this work lets me do that every day. Everything I do is rooted in a strengths-based perspective. I use client-centered therapy because I believe you should be an active participant in every part of your treatment. Together we identify what matters most to you and build toward those goals in a way that feels authentic and empowering. My approach is nonjudgmental through and through. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are — not where anyone thinks you should be. This is your counseling experience, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance as we navigate the process together. Building a strong therapeutic relationship matters deeply to me. Trust, collaboration, and genuine connection form the foundation of meaningful work. I'd be honored to accompany you on this journey toward better mental health and overall wellness, whatever that looks like for you. Specialties: I specialize in helping clients navigate stress, trauma, and PTSD, with a particular focus on challenges tied to family conflict and parenting. In our first session together, we will explore the issues you are facing in depth and collaborate on a plan designed to help you reclaim your life. Many of my clients notice a gradual easing of symptoms within the first few months, with lasting improvement continuing from there. Credentials & Experience: I bring over a decade of experience in the social work field, supporting diverse populations across the life span. I am deeply committed to helping others navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful growth.
"My therapeutic approach centers on client-centered therapy, an evidence-based method that places you at the heart of the work we do together. This means you are an active participant in every aspect of your treatment — your voice, your goals, and your priorities guide each session. I also draw on the strengths perspective, which focuses on identifying and building upon the unique strengths and capabilities you already possess. Rather than focusing solely on what is wrong, we will work together to uncover what is working, what has helped you through challenges before, and how we can harness those qualities to help you achieve better outcomes and greater independence. Throughout our sessions, I will work closely with you to ensure you feel empowered, supported, and equipped to make meaningful progress toward the goals that matter most to you."
