About

Pain and difficulty are an inevitable part of life and sometimes we need a kind, supportive, and caring person to help us weather the storm and/or find a way through it. I bring an engaging, down to earth and relaxed approach that will help to foster an honest and trusting therapeutic relationship that will ease any discomfort or fear. In our sessions you will find hope, understanding, compassion, sense of humor and optimism that will empower you to heal and overcome. If you are wondering if you should reach out, the answer is Yes. Now is the time, you are worth it. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have encountered traumatic life events and who are struggling to manage stress, anxiety and depression. In addition, individuals working to cope with grief/loss, generational patterns of dysfunction, relationship difficulties, attachment issues, anger management, poor self-esteem, and difficulties with emotion regulation. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and have received trainings in many trauma focused and cognitive behavioral models. I believe you are more than just a cluster of symptoms, problems and behaviors. You are unique and deserve a therapist that will use your strengths and customize the experience for what you need.
