About
You want to feel calm and confident. You’d like to no longer be hijacked by your mind or your inner critic. You’d love to no longer feel a sense of dread, to be able to do things without forcing yourself, or without having to suffer through them. You have so much to be grateful for, and you’d like to enjoy your life, rather than simply surviving it. You know what’s not working in your life. You may even know why, and even where it comes from. It’s incredibly frustrating to see yourself doing the things you’d like to change, but you just can’t translate that awareness to different decision-making in the moment. Perhaps fear, anxiety, worry, or stress are getting in your way. Maybe a struggle to find motivation or direction, or feeling like your life lacks purpose and meaning. Or, it may a constant battle with self-doubt, self-criticism, regret, and perfectionism. Regardless, you feel stuck, and would love to feel good in the day to day. I’m a Psychologist, the therapists who have received the most advanced training, and I'm board certified in Lifestyle Medicine. I don’t just do “talk therapy.” So, if you’re ready for it to be different, practical strategies and a science-backed approach can help you create real and lasting change. I'd love to hear from you! Specialties: My clients often struggle with negative thinking, feeling overwhelmed by uncomfortable emotions, and the very real discomfort of uncertainty or "not knowing" and not having control of what comes next. This can look like stress, worry, or anxiety. Or, self-criticism, low self-confidence, perfectionism, or regret. Or perhaps feeling like they don't have motivation, direction, or purpose. Credentials & Experience: I'm a psychologist - not a counselor or a social worker. Psychologists, along with psychiatrists, are the most highly trained mental health professionals. I don't just do "talk therapy." I use science backed strategies to inform my approach to allow for the creation of long lasting change.
"I use empowering approaches. They allow you to know yourself better, learn skills and tools to respond more in line with who you'd like to be, and build self-confidence. They open a door to a new life, and a new way of being, even a new way of looking at - and believing in - yourself. I help you build the tool kit, but you also become your own compass and learn to trust yourself."
