My work as a clinical social worker, in a supportive environment, is to help you find and implement solutions to the challenges that you are facing in your life I specialize in offering Eye Movment Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. EMDR is higly efficetive in addressing and resolving a recent or distant trauma that you have experienced. I use a focused and client centered model and involve you actively in the planning and implementation of the therapy. I have been an EMDR therapist for twenty six years and provide training in both the United State and internationally. Specialties: I am focused and clear in both the assessment and in the development of your specific EMDR treatment plan. Memories are scaled from 0 to 10 and the goal is to reduce each distressing memory to: " zero, neutral or no distress". This is a supported and therapist facilitated process, with the client in charge of the successful treatment. Credentials & Experience: I have 26 years of experience as an EMDR therapist and 17 years experience as an EMDR Senior Trainer both in the USA and internationally. I work with complex trauma and develop a specific EMDR treatment plan with you, that guides your healing process.
