Deborah Siegel
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
·LCSW, BCDAbout
You have taken the first step to explore accepting therapy and you should feel proud that you have decided to get help. This has been a very challenging time for us all. The issues which were troubling you: stress in your relationships with family and friends or life changes/separation, divorce, retirement, illness or loss may have intensified during the pandemic. The stressful time we are living through may also contribute to your suffering. Please consider working with me to feel better. I offer daytime, evening and week-end hours in person in the office and telehealth. I offer you the opportunity to express your feelings in order to understand how your past experiences impact you today. You do not need to go through this time of social isolation alone and feeling sad. My years of experience helping people with emphasis on mental health and substance abuse issues inform my work and prepare me to help you at this time. My clients have described me as engaged, interactive and empathetic. Through therapy we will work together at a pace that works for you-weekly or more or less frequently. I work with people to help them achieve a greater sense of well being and to reach their life goals by identifying, exploring, and overcoming obstacles. Specialties: You may be struggling with anxiety or depression related to stress in your relationships or stress from life changes such as retirement, divorce, marriage or starting your family. During our initial sessions, we will delve into the issues that led you to seek treatment at this time. Many clients report a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement after that.
