About
Everyone has a voice and wants to be heard. Come and find your voice, build confidence and come to someone who will listen. Helping couple's, individuals, and adolescents build new foundations of self-reliance. Some techniques I use are EMDR for trauma, depression, and anxiety. CBT, EFT, and DBT to manage intense emotions, and learn healthier coping skills. Hypnotherapy for relaxation, phobias, Menopausal symptoms, sleep disorders, and breaking bad habits. EMDR trained, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma. Even though you might think your traumatic event happened a long time ago, your body keeps the record of it. EMDR helps you find those memories that are stuck in your brain to process so they may get unstuck and stored away properly in your memory. I believe one can overcome many symptoms of trauma, (depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and more) through a combination of specialized techniques. I work with clients to take their power back and find the joy and peace they have within themselves. Specialties: I work with individuals who have past trauma which drives symptoms like depression, anxiety, sleep disturbance, lack of focus, and grief. I use a trauma informed approach that acknowledges the impact of trauma by promoting safety, trust, and empowerment while preventing re-traumatization.
"I often use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Helps to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors related to trauma. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) a therapy that uses guided eye movements and other stimuli to process traumatic memories. I also incorporate Psychotherapy which involves working to explore trauma, and develop coping skills."
