ATTN: Only have availability before 5pm. The disconnect between "knowing" something and "feeling" something is true is where I often meet folks. For some, it's not enough to know about what you experienced, but to resolve the emotional imprint of your experiences and relationships. You may feel like you're at this place of uncertainty of how to bridge between what you "rationally" know and what continues to feel stuck, reactive, and exhausting to experience. I love working with folks who have a curiosity to connect and approach deeper work that goes beyond just talking about, reading about, and knowing what impacted them. I have 8 years of experience working with folks who have a history sexual abuse/assault, (C)PTSD, and relational trauma. I am trauma-informed in my approach to facilitate a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to process your experiences. My approach is informed by your pace and consent because it can be intimidating to confront vulnerable topics. I aim to form a therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe and authentic so that you can feel empowered to lean into your own resiliency. Feel free to reach out to me if you're looking for a balance of support and therapeutic challenge in a space to move through what's stuck, connect with your body's wisdom...and maybe laugh a little along the way! Specialties: My primary therapeutic approach aims to identify, uncover, and eventually confront root trauma beliefs and symptoms, help clients build skills and resiliency to endure trauma processing, and eventually overcome the impact of past experiences. Credentials & Experience: I am trained in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR. I am dedicated to maintaining knowledge and skills that are up to date with the current research in trauma therapy.
"I often use systemic trauma-informed approaches aimed to address how trauma is held and organized in the body and mind, specifically EMDR, IFS, and somatic interventions."
