About
Asking for help is really hard, and I am so glad you are here. Finding the right counselor is even harder. I am the kind of counselor that will combine excellent clinical skills, a good sense of humor, personality, and even a bit of silliness into my work with you. I have years of experience working with queer/LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples and trauma survivors. I want to work with people who value clinical knowledge, direct and compassionate feedback, and who are motivated to see their lives different. If this sounds like you, please reach out! I'd love to meet you! I specialize in helping people identify and remove barriers to their own success. Whether through deep dives into your past, or removal of present struggles preventing you from moving forward, I can help you move forward with confidence! I know how hard it can be to reach out for help. I also know how much better life can be after coming to therapy. I assure you, it will be worth it in the end. Let's get started! Specialties: I work with clients who are recovering from trauma, people who need the special knowledge to work with queer populations, people struggling with addiction, and couples. Weaving together multiple theories and modalities, we will begin to address long-standing behaviors that have refused to change throughout your life. I am determined to help you move past your struggles. Credentials & Experience: I have been a practicing counselor since 2015 and am fully licensed. Additionally, I hold certifications in addiction counseling and I have extensive training in relationship counseling and trauma therapy, including EMDR.
"I use an integrated approach of various theories of counseling that explore the unique interplay between societal messages, trauma, and protective parts of ourselves preventing us from moving forward. In our work together, we will identify a way to incorporate all of our parts and narratives into a cohesive whole that can walk through life with confidence and grace."
