About
I believe that curiosity heals, that healing comes from approaching our lives with greater openness and non-judgement. I work with adults desiring support for complex trauma (CPTSD), relationship issues, chronic illness, anxiety, and career therapy. Using a caring, direct approach, I support clients to gain deeper understanding of themself, increase emotional regulation, & use more effective conflict management strategies. I believe that our world often makes it seem like we need to be fixed when really we need trust, connection, and tools to cultivate desired change within ourselves and our relationships. My style is trauma-informed and strength-based. I aim to provide LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and culturally affirming services. I blend narrative, internal family systems (IFS), DBT, and somatic therapies. I'm advanced trained in EMDR, family systems therapy, EFT, & the Gottman Method. My role will be to collaborate with you, prioritize safety, and remind you that you are not alone in carrying the burden of or healing from life's challenges. Greater curiosity leads to more understanding, stronger communication, and deeper connection with one’s self and others — and I am excited and ready to support you along the way. Specialties: I specialize in working with clients wanting to heal from CPTSD (complex trauma), sexual trauma and abuse, and medical trauma. I also specialize in providing career counseling having worked in this field in addition to psychotherapy for over 5 years. Together we will strengthen your abilities to set boundaries, handle difficult emotions and memories, and feel more connected and whole. Credentials & Experience: I am EMDR trained, have a certificate in relationship therapy and training and have completed multiple advanced trainings such as EFT (emotionally focused therapy), the Gottman Method, polyvagal theory (nervous system work), and CPTSD.
"I'm curious, collaborative, transparent, respectfully straightforward, analytical, and realistically optimistic. I'll balance bringing in moments of laughter, deepening into hard emotions, and supporting you in gently challenging unhelpful behaviors and beliefs. And I'll always aim to be a present, nonjudgemental, steady support."
