About
The conditions of modern life have left many of us feeling disconnected and overwhelmed. If you long for a greater sense of belonging, wholeness, or a deeper connection to yourself and loved ones, reach out; you are not alone. I work with individuals, couples, and elder adults who feel lonely, misunderstood, exhausted, amiss, or stretched thin. I also work with people who are navigating the impacts of trauma, including PTSD, C-PTSD, and childhood abuse. My work is psychodynamic and depth-oriented, with attention to the various facets of health that make a person whole. If you are tired of managing everything on your own, therapy can be a place to slow down and feel supported. You do not have to fully understand what is wrong before beginning. Starting therapy can be daunting, and finding the right therapist even more so. I welcome you to reach out and see whether working together feels like a good next step for you. Credentials & Experience: I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an evidence-based trauma therapy that helps the brain reprocess painful experiences and memories so they lose their emotional charge and no longer feel stuck in the present.
"I work psychodynamically, drawing from relational, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients explore the deeper roots of their struggles. I also teach clients grounding skills for nervous-system soothing and cultivating self-regulatory strategies. Together, we will make space for what's been pushed aside, so you can move toward greater clarity, self-trust, and wholeness."
