About

Some people come to therapy looking for a place to be heard. But what if that isn't enough? Maybe you've been to therapy in the past and aren't sure if it helped. Sessions felt comforting and affirming, but nothing in your life actually shifted. The work never felt totally alive. And now you're here, struggling with the same things as before. I work with people who appear to have it all together yet feel like something essential is missing or broken. They're stuck in patterns they can't think their way out of, unable to access what they actually want, or carrying a sense of shame or wrongness they haven't been able to articulate. My approach is relational and psychoanalytic. I show up in the room with the same emotional honesty I'll ask of you. I have reactions, observations, and occasionally some pushback. This work can help offer some relief from anxiety, depression, and obsessive overthinking, but I'm also curious about what those symptoms might be trying to tell you. What I've found is that change doesn't come only from understanding yourself. It comes from being in a relationship where something different becomes possible. A relationship where you're met with honesty, and without pretense. If that sounds like what you've been looking for, reach out. Specialties: I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in painful relational patterns, disconnected from themselves or others, or burdened by anxiety, loss, or difficult past experiences. Many of the people I see are thoughtful and outwardly functioning well, yet find themselves repeating relationship dynamics or struggling to feel fully present and alive in their lives. Credentials & Experience: Before training as a therapist, I spent years working as a television writer and comedian. That experience shaped how I think about creativity, identity, and the particular pressures that come with building a life in the arts.

"I offer relational, insight-oriented therapy that explores how your past and present relationships shape your inner world and current patterns. Our work focuses on deepening self-understanding and expanding your capacity for connection, freedom, and emotional resilience."
