About
I am a queer, disabled, cis woman of white and indigenous descent, well-versed in the nuances of navigating life with a disability. Often, nondisabled therapists either overemphasize or underplay its impact. In our sessions, we'll find the right balance for you, focusing on what truly matters—whether that's disability, queer issues, or other areas of your life. You’ll have a supportive space to discuss any topic without needing to first educate your therapist about your disabled and queer identities, ensuring our time is focused on your growth and well-being. I offer teletherapy to anyone in California, blending professional insight with personal understanding. My practice features flexible scheduling and low session rates to ensure accessibility. Grounded in Disability Justice principles, I create a supportive environment for exploring identity, building resilience, and addressing your concerns. Facing life's hurdles can feel less daunting with someone who truly gets it by your side. Get in touch to see how we might be able to work together! Specialties: I can assist you with navigating complex identities, managing interpersonal relationships, and moving through trauma. My typical treatment plan involves initial assessments to understand your unique context, followed by setting personalized goals. We will use psychodynamic and relational techniques, ensuring our approach is rooted in intersectionality and disability Credentials & Experience: Licensed 2016, the vast majority of my training and experience has been with the LGBTQ community. I also have extensive personal and professional experience working with disability.
