About
Intuition, empathy, and understanding form the foundation of my work. I believe that when we approach your struggles with genuine curiosity, it opens the door to deeper compassion and a more authentic version of who you are. Through a psychoanalytic lens, we'll work together to build insight into your relationship patterns and explore your inner world — including your dream life, childhood memories, and the connections that shape your daily experience. I bring an imaginative presence into the therapy room. Together, we'll look at how early life experiences created a blueprint for your adult relationships, using our own therapeutic relationship as a mirror to better understand how you connect with others. This process is about developing real curiosity about yourself and where you come from. I listen deeply to the words you choose, creating a safe space where you can encounter a more open version of yourself. Whether you've tried counseling before and felt disappointed, or you're considering therapy for the very first time, I'd encourage you to reach out. Mental wellness is a journey worth exploring, and you don't have to do it alone. Specialties: I specialize in working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, as well as those who simply sense that therapy can improve their lives. I am experienced in helping clients develop an increased ability to tolerate difficult emotions, a deeper understanding of themselves, and greater ease in managing relationships. My work focuses on a psychoanalytic approach that is holistic and produces long lasting results. Credentials & Experience: I bring extensive, specialized training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and am currently advancing my clinical studies at the Psychoanalytic Center of California. I am also trained in EMDR, equipping me to help clients process trauma and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
"I combine psychoanalytic and trauma-informed EMDR therapy in an intuitive therapeutic approach. Together, we will use the therapeutic relationship to explore your patterns of relating and better understand the deeper roots of what may be troubling you. Psychoanalytic therapy helps bring unconscious thoughts, feelings, and early life experiences into awareness so they can be processed and understood. This evidence-based approach sometimes involves multiple sessions a week. When working through particular traumatic events, I utilize EMDR techniques such as bilateral stimulation, which uses guided eye movements or other forms of alternating left-right stimulation to help the brain reprocess distressing memories so they feel less overwhelming over time."
