·PhDAbout
I am a Licensed Psychologist and work with children, teens, families, and young adults. I specialize in issues related to anxiety, depression, impulsivity, developmental concerns, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and life transitions. I offer individual and family therapy services to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, and academic issues. When working with children, I involve parents/caregivers in most aspects of treatment to provide comprehensive care. I also work closely with psychiatrists, teachers, and school administration to provide collaborative care. My aim is to provide a safe space for individuals to process and explore their thoughts and feelings by facilitating a strong therapeutic relationship and providing specific tools tailored to meet their unique needs. I have a passion for working with children and teens, aiding in their development by fostering growth, independence, and resilience. Specialties: I work with clients who present with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioral and developmental concerns, and eating disorders, among others. During our intake session, I will obtain relevant background information, delve into the issues at hand, and collaborate with you to create an individualized treatment plan to address our primary goals. Credentials & Experience: I have 10 years of experience in helping children, teens, and families in need of support. I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy and implement evidence-based practices to uphold the highest quality of care.
"I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), among others, and implement a person-centered approach to care. We will explore what brought you to therapy and identify appropriate treatments and strategies to assist in your progress. I meet the client where they are and am flexible in my approach based on client needs."
