About
Life changes can be difficult whether it be relational, new experiences or added additions. “I am committed to those I see and willing to guide you along the way.” Laura has over 20 years of experience in the Mental Health Field. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has worked with a number of individuals who have dealt with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Laura offers a welcoming space for you to come and process what you feel the needed focus is. I also enjoy women’s issues, working with Responders, and have a love of helping you create the life and response that is healthy and unique to you. Laura is trained in CPT, TFCBT. and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization). She believes in a person-centered approach to treatment while trying to assist clients in focusing on their strengths in which may be creating their stuck points. “Many years ago I learned there is not a one size fits all in therapy and it is important to meet the client where they are. Laura offers a welcoming space for you to come and process what you feel the struggle is but will also challenge you to explore areas that may be unknown or hidden.” Life changes can be difficult whether it be relational, new experiences or added additions. “I am committed to those I see and willing to guide you along the way.” Specialties: I also enjoys women's issues, working with Responders, and has a love of helping them create the life and response that is healthy and unique to them.
