About
I specialize in working with adults navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. You can expect to feel heard without judgment. My goal is to support each person in ways that promote emotional regulation, self-compassion, and informed decision-making. We’ll clarify your goals, explore what’s been getting in the way, and begin introducing practical skills you can use right away to better manage your emotions and stress. We will work to strengthen coping so you may begin to feel more grounded and reconnected in your life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, practical, and focused on meaningful integration and change. I am a Compassionate Bereavement Care provider and I am also certified to provide IADC therapy. For those suffering following profound losses, I am uniquely qualified to meet you where you are through education, training, and deep personal experience. I am passionate about this work because I know firsthand how transformative it can be to have someone walk alongside you during life’s hardest moments. It’s an honor to help clients discover their inner strength, reclaim a sense of safety and peace, and begin living with more ease and purpose. You can book with me by clicking my website. Specialties: I work with clients to express complicated emotions of grief and loss. We collaborate to identify and challenge any unhelpful beliefs that are fueling stress and self- criticism. I will guide you to find and use your natural skills and strengths to navigate challenges while learning to process and integrate these overwhelming emotions into something more manageable. Credentials & Experience: I am licensed in Arkansas since 2000. My early career was with children, teens and families in crisis. I have spent the last three years focusing my continuing education on grief and loss and I hold a certification as a Compassionate Bereavement Care Provider.
"In your first session, we will explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. While I draw from several evidence-based approaches, I often use Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy as a thread throughout our time together. Each session is tailored to your needs, and we choose tools that feel most productive and useful for you."
