About
I am passionate about empowering individuals, couples, and families to pursue meaningful, connected relationships. I have experience working with social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, ADHD, parent-child relationships, family transitions, grief, blended families, couples therapy, and attachment issues. My ideal client is anyone ready to lean into the places they feel stuck in life and to seek change. I have a special place in my heart for working with individuals who navigate life with disabilities, who deal with challenges related to cultural identity, or who bear stress from issues of social injustice. My Masters degree is in marriage and family therapy. My program emphasized systemic issues impacting wellbeing and the health of relationships. I primarily utilize an emphasis on attachment and bonding in relationships to facilitate healing from past wounds/trauma and establishing emotional safety in a client's inner world and in their closest relationships. I have a heart for meeting people in their places of pain and finding healing and wholeness. I always strive to identify my client's priorities and longings for their life as the direction for counseling. If you are ready to build a partnership for lasting change, I would be honored to work with you. Specialties: I am careful to create individualized maps for the therapy to ensure we are moving towards each client's priorities. I work with clients struggling with emotional distress and relationship concerns. In an initial appointment, we will complete an assessment of the primary concerns and collaborate on the creation of measurable goals and a "roadmap" of how to order our interventions during treatment.
