About
I'm the owner of Healing in Truth Therapy, and I wholeheartedly believe that our life experiences don't define us—they shape us, equipping us to become stronger and more resilient versions of ourselves. Every challenge carries a lesson and an opening for growth. At Healing in Truth, we honor both where you've been and where you are right now as we work together to foster genuine healing from the inside out. We walk alongside individuals navigating past traumas, relationship struggles, anxiety, and people-pleasing patterns. Our counseling work centers on releasing resentment, strengthening self-worth, and creating meaningful, achievable goals for your mental wellness. You'll find a safe, inclusive space here—one grounded in cultural sensitivity and completely free from judgment. Through evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, and IFS, we work with you to uncover how your upbringing has shaped your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify and break free from negative patterns, empowering you to embrace lasting change and deeper self-understanding. Healing takes courage, and you don't have to do it alone. If you're ready to begin this work, we're here to walk every step of the way with you. Specialties: I specialize in helping clients work through past traumas, low self-esteem and confidence issues, people-pleasing behaviors, and the challenges of understanding and maintaining healthy relationships. In our sessions, I focus on diving deeper into how and why these patterns developed. I am experienced with creating collaborative treatment plans and clear goals that address the root causes of these struggles and help you change unhelpful behaviors so you can experience meaningful, lasting change. Credentials & Experience: I bring over 10 years of experience supporting clients of diverse ages and backgrounds. I partner with several foundations to provide affordable therapy and collaborate with the Phoenix Fire Department to serve first responders. My goal is to reach as many people as possible who are navigating trauma and anxiety.
"I use an evidence-based therapeutic approach that combines EMDR Trauma Therapy and IFS (Internal Family Systems) in our sessions. EMDR is a method that helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or stuck. IFS is a framework that helps you understand the different parts of yourself — the protective parts, the wounded parts, and the calm, confident core within you — so we can work with them rather than against them. Initially, we explore your background and how it has shaped your life. We'll examine your upbringing and its lasting impact on how you see yourself and the world. Then, we use EMDR and IFS to address and work through the negative beliefs that have been holding you back. Finally, we'll focus on developing positive, practical strategies for handling your current life circumstances with greater confidence and resilience."
