About
You've been through a lot. Life is hard. Maybe you feel disconnected, on edge, or stuck. Maybe anxiety is high, trust is hard, and managing triggers seems nearly impossible. Maybe you've tried therapy before and the therapist wasn't the right fit or maybe you weren't 100% ready yet. Fast forward to today and you feel ready to try this "therapy" thing again. If you're seeking a space where you can be real, heal, and achieve your goals, I'd like to say hi. My name is Victoria and my approach is about giving you tools to handle the tough stuff while respecting your journey. I keep it real, honest, and productive. I specialize in trauma-informed, client-centered PTSD treatment for individuals who have experienced combat-related trauma, sexual assault, or other forms of trauma. Utilizing a blend of evidence-based modalities and holistic healing practices, together, we'll cultivate a space that is warm, encouraging, yet direct. If you're caught in a cycle of trying to move forward while feeling like you're still carrying the weight of the past or struggling to trust others and feel safe, I want you to know healing is possible (even if it takes a hot minute). Whenever you're ready, I'm here. (P.S. If you happen to be ready now, you can book directly by clicking on my website). Specialties: I work with clients who may be struggling with trauma. During our initial sessions, we will cultivate a warm, safe space to feel comfortable talking about the hard stuff. Therapy with me is your pace; you have the right to say "not today", "no", or anything else similar. Most of my clients experience a gradual lift of symptoms within the first month with sustained improvement after. Credentials & Experience: I'm licensed in Alaska and specialize in trauma work with Veterans, first responders, and others. With an emphasis on holistic care, I enjoy integrating mindfulness (it's so much more than the "silly breathing techniques"!) into my work.
