About

Many of us dreamed of becoming mothers since childhood, and now we find ourselves in an unexpected place — needing real help, strength, and support. If that's where you are right now, I want you to know that what you're feeling is completely valid. Depression is a common and treatable condition, and reaching out for counseling is a powerful first step toward mental wellness and recovery. You are not alone in this journey, and many women walk through postpartum depression and come out the other side with the right strategies and support. Together, we'll explore your feelings and experiences in a way that feels safe and unhurried. My commitment is to help you regain your footing, rediscover your inner strength, and ultimately find joy in motherhood. Therapy gives us the space to process everything you've been carrying, and I'll be here with you at every step. This is not something you've done wrong. Everything you've gone through in becoming a mother is immense, and your response to it is so deeply understandable. We'll create a supportive environment where you can heal at your own pace, without judgment or pressure. I genuinely look forward to meeting you and hearing your unique story. You're welcome to bring your infant along to our sessions. When you're ready, give me a call — be kind to yourself in the meantime. Specialties: We specialize in EMDR to help change your physical state of mind through body work. Your body has been through a lot, and we want to gently assist your healing process. We are also experienced with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which allows us to work together to identify the negative thought patterns and behaviors contributing to your postpartum depression. Through breath work and movement, we focus on helping you move back to joy. Credentials & Experience: Our greatest qualification is that you will work with mothers who understand firsthand what you are going through, drawing on their own lived experiences in motherhood.

"Refocus offers a comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic approach to address postpartum depression. We tailor treatment to your unique needs and circumstances. Our primary goal is to provide a safe, empathetic space where you can openly share your thoughts and emotions. We will work collaboratively to explore effective strategies. This helps you navigate this challenging time."
