About

Helping people move through difficult seasons and find genuine balance in their lives has been at the heart of my work for over thirty-five years. I draw primarily on mindfulness-based approaches because they offer such powerful tools for lasting change — whether someone is navigating anxiety, panic disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress symptoms, or the stress of a major life transition. I've seen how these practices create real shifts for clients facing relationship and family struggles, stress-related physical issues, and so many other challenges that can feel overwhelming. Every person who walks through my door brings a unique story, which is why I've never believed in a one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. Over the decades, I've trained in a wide range of therapeutic techniques so I can tailor each session to your specific needs and goals. I work with children, teens, and adults alike, and I also partner with whole family systems who are working through periods of change together. In our sessions, I teach and encourage mindful awareness — the practice of staying present with your thoughts, physical sensations, and emotions without judgment. Alongside that, I share practical stress-reduction strategies, relationship tools that actually work in everyday life, and cognitive skills to help you work with negative thinking patterns rather than getting swept away by them. If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation, or you are simply ready to move in a new direction, I would love to work alongside you. Together, we can focus on the goals that matter most to you and help you build the mental wellness and lasting change you deserve.
