About
Whatever you're carrying right now — anxiety, depression, a relationship that feels like it's unraveling, or a life that's shifting in ways you didn't expect — I see you. You may be doing everything you can just to hold things together, and somewhere inside, you know you need more support than you're getting. My work is about helping you get honest with yourself: what you actually need, why it matters, and how to express it in a way that feels genuinely yours. For individuals, we'll slow down together and look at the thought patterns quietly driving your emotional experience, then build practical tools to help you manage what life throws at you. For couples, I focus on bridging the gap between what each person needs and how that gets communicated — turning conversations that create distance into ones that build real connection. My time on the behavioral health floor of Children's of Alabama shaped how I think about healing in a profound way. I've seen firsthand just how resilient people are, and I've watched how much more quickly that resilience unfolds when someone isn't carrying their pain alone. That belief sits at the core of everything I bring into the counseling room. You don't have to navigate this by yourself. When you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to walk alongside you. Credentials & Experience: Grounded in direct clinical experience, I have worked on the inpatient psychiatric unit at Children's of Alabama, where I gained specialized, hands-on exposure to acute mental health care. I have also completed a rigorous counseling internship trained in working with a diverse range of clients, including teens, adults, couples, and families.
"My faith as a Christian informs who I am, and I can integrate spirituality into our work together — though only if you feel comfortable and choose to invite it into the process. I welcome all clients, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or any other aspect of identity. My priority is to create a safe and supportive space for everyone."
