Hello! My name is Rebekah Smith and I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I am passionate about coming alongside you to help you achieve your goal of a more fulfilling life. There are many challenges in life and we tackle them best when we have support. I'd like to join you on your journey. I have experience working with all ages both in an inpatient and outpatient setting. I was also a 6th grade teacher for two years. My approach is trauma-informed. I can help with a variety of mental health struggles including but not limited to depression, anxiety, behavior struggles, loss, grief, and trauma. I believe in a client-centered style where we can collaborate on plans to achieve your specific mental health goals. Our office is warm and inviting. I am accepting new clients in Huntsville, Alabama with telehealth options available if appropriate. I'd be honored to work with you. Credentials & Experience: I have training in trauma-informed treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to better help those caught in the swamp of depression, Motivational Interviewing to help facilitate actually making desired changes, and Collaborative and Proactive Solutions for children with behavioral challenges.
