About
Every person deserves to feel heard, seen, and valued. That conviction shaped my decision to become a counselor. I wanted to create the kind of space where people feel genuinely safe — somewhere they can be vulnerable, express themselves openly, and grow at their own pace. I truly believe there's a spark inside each of us that makes growth, change, and self-acceptance possible. My approach to therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Whether I'm working with a family, a couple, or an individual, I tailor every session to fit your specific needs. I draw on a range of counseling tools and techniques so that the work we do together actually meets you where you are. We all face challenges and obstacles — that's part of being human. What makes those hurdles feel less daunting is processing them with someone else, someone who can help you find solutions to move through, around, or over whatever is standing in your way. You don't have to face life's obstacles alone. Let's tackle them together. Specialties: During our counseling sessions together, we focus on addressing the concerns that matter most to you. We specialize in creating a collaborative, supportive space where your unique needs are heard. In our initial sessions, we will delve into what those concerns are and work together to build a personalized plan tailored to your goals. We are experienced with helping clients navigate a wide range of challenges, and we are committed to walking alongside you every step of the way as we address them together. Credentials & Experience: I am an Associate Licensed Counselor and a Marriage & Family Intern licensed in the state of Alabama. I practice under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is also a Certified Group Therapist (CGT).
"I offer a blended therapeutic approach, combining client-centered techniques with evidence-based therapies tailored to your unique needs. My specialized training includes Lifespan Integration, a gentle method that helps resolve past trauma and foster a stronger sense of self by working with your body's natural healing processes. I also use Gottman Therapy, a research-backed approach for couples that provides practical tools to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. For couples preparing for marriage, I offer pre-marital counseling through Prepare/Enrich, a proven program that helps you and your partner explore your strengths, identify growth areas, and build a solid foundation for your future together."

I keep therapy affordable and accessible by working on a private pay basis.
