About
Raising a child or teenager can be one of the most rewarding — and most overwhelming — experiences of your life, and if you're finding it hard right now, you don't have to figure it out alone. I've spent over 20 years providing counseling to children and adolescents across a wide range of settings, and that work has shaped everything I do. I even authored a book specifically designed to help mental health professionals, educators, youth workers, and parents navigate the real, complex issues young people face today. If something feels off with your child, let's talk about it. Relationships take work, and sometimes even the strongest bonds can feel like they're slipping away. As an experienced couple's counselor, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of couples either strengthen their marriages or prepare thoughtfully for one. Whether you're trying to find your way back to each other or build something solid from the start, I believe that with the right support, love can be rediscovered and renewed. Trauma has a way of quietly reshaping how we see ourselves and the world around us. If you're trying to recover after a tragic event, I want you to know that healing is possible — and that finding genuine happiness again is not out of reach. Working through pain in a safe, supportive space is one of the most courageous things a person can do, and I'm here to walk that path with you. I founded my own counseling practice with one clear purpose: to help people meet their goals and move toward the lives they want to live. Whatever brought you here today, I look forward to talking with you and helping you take that next step. Let's talk! Specialties: During the initial sessions, I specialize in delving deeply into the issues at hand while collaborating with you to create a personalized plan that promotes healing and growth. I am experienced with guiding clients through this process in a way that feels both structured and supportive, ensuring that every concern is heard and understood from the very start. My approach focuses on building a strong therapeutic foundation, where your needs shape the direction of our work together. By taking the time to fully explore what you are going through, I am able to develop a clear and thoughtful path forward that addresses the issues most meaningful to you, setting the stage for meaningful progress and lasting change. Credentials & Experience: Over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families has shaped my ability to provide thoughtful, effective support across a wide range of life challenges. I am here to help you.
"My therapeutic approach begins with taking the time to truly understand you. In our first session or two, we'll complete an intake process together — a relaxed but thorough conversation designed to explore your specific needs, concerns, and what brings you to therapy. From there, we'll collaboratively decide on the most appropriate, evidence-based ways to support your progress toward your goals. Because every person's experience is unique, the therapeutic approach we use will be thoughtfully tailored to you — whether your concerns are rooted in the way you think, the emotions you feel, the behaviors you find yourself caught in, or a combination of all three."
