About
Working with children, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life has been one of the most meaningful parts of my journey as a therapist. At the heart of everything I do is a person-centered approach grounded in genuine empathy — because I believe that feeling truly understood is where healing begins. Whatever brings you here — anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, career concerns, low self-esteem, burnout, or something else entirely — my priority is to listen without judgment and create a space where you feel safe to be fully yourself. I specialize in emotion-focused work and play-based therapy, drawing on these methods to help you make sense of your past, develop insight into your present, and build real hope for what's ahead. Life can feel impossibly heavy when it seems like the people around you don't quite get what you're going through. That sense of being unseen or dismissed is something I take seriously. In our work together, I want you to experience the opposite — a place where your thoughts and feelings are welcomed exactly as they are, and where you never have to filter yourself to be accepted. Together, we'll explore a path forward that's shaped around your unique needs and what feels right for you. Mental wellness isn't one-size-fits-all, and I'm committed to walking alongside you at whatever pace makes sense. If any of this speaks to you, I would genuinely love to connect. Please don't hesitate to reach out — I'm here to listen. Specialties: I specialize in working with clients who are navigating depression, anxiety, and a wide range of other mental health concerns. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. I am experienced with meeting people where they are, and I focus on making sure that every step we take together feels purposeful and grounded in what matters most to you. I cannot promise specific results, but I can promise that I will do my best to make sure you feel heard and understood. Credentials & Experience: Bringing extensive experience working with children, teens, adults, and families across a wide range of mental health concerns, I am licensed in Alabama and hold specialized certifications that reflect a deep commitment to serving clients at every stage of life. I am certified in Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Counseling through Troy University, equipping me with focused expertise in the critical early years of development. I am also certified in Tele-Health Counseling, trained through the Telehealth Certification Institute, allowing me to deliver professional, accessible care remotely with the same standard of excellence clients can expect in person.
"My therapeutic approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, an evidence-based modality that places you at the heart of the healing process. In your first few sessions, we'll take the time to explore what brought you to therapy and work together to identify the most meaningful ways to move toward your personal goals and needs. Person-Centered Therapy is non-directive, meaning I won't push you toward a predetermined path — instead, I follow your lead, guided by genuine empathy and deep respect for your experience. This therapeutic approach is designed to offer you a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard, free to express yourself openly, grow into your fullest potential, and create the positive changes you're looking for in your life."

Insurance & Policies
Therapy should feel accessible, and understanding your insurance options is part of that. I am an in-network provider with BCBS, which means your visits may be covered at a lower cost depending on your plan. If you carry a different insurance, I can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit directly to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Individual therapy sessions are $155. If you have questions about your coverage or payment options, please give me a call. Making therapy affordable for you matters to me, and I am glad to walk through your options with you.
