About

Helping people through life's hardest moments is something I feel genuinely called to do — and I bring my whole self to that work. I'm neuro-divergent, a little nerdy, and proudly goofy, and I think that authenticity matters when you're building a space where real healing can happen. Whether you're carrying the weight of depression, anxiety, complex trauma, PTSD, ADHD, or relationship struggles, I'm here to offer something that's compassionate, non-judgmental, and warm — a place where you can breathe, be honest, and start to recognize how much strength you already have inside you. I work primarily with adults 18 and older, including LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and neuro-divergent clients. My practice is proudly LGBTQ+ affirming and trauma-affirming, and I genuinely love supporting a diverse population of people across a wide range of experiences. Individual and couples therapy are both part of what I offer, and I have a particular passion for working with folks navigating ADHD, autism, borderline disorder, and bipolar disorder — minds that often just need a counselor who actually gets how they're wired. My areas of specialization include trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, and relationships — including non-monogamous ones. I believe that mental wellness isn't one-size-fits-all, and I'm committed to tailoring our work together to fit your story, your brain, and your goals. You're not alone in this, and you don't have to figure it out by yourself. When you're ready to take that first step, text or email me today to get started. Specialties: I enjoy working with adults 18 and older and specialize in helping people navigate a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. I am experienced with anxiety and depression, and I focus on supporting clients through tough life transitions that can leave people feeling lost or overwhelmed. I also work with grief, walking alongside those who are processing loss in all its forms, and I am experienced with trauma, helping clients work toward healing and a greater sense of safety in their lives. Credentials & Experience: Licensed as an LICSW in Alabama, I bring hands-on experience supporting individuals through a range of challenges, including anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, and ADHD.

"My therapeutic approach is rooted in strength-based and positive psychology principles, focusing on what is already working well in your life and building from there. Together, we identify the triggers and barriers that may be holding you back, and we set clear, meaningful goals to work toward throughout our time together. Healing happens through empowerment — learning to recognize your own strengths, developing practical coping skills, and gaining the tools you need to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. To support this process, I draw on several evidence-based modalities tailored to your unique needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, so you can begin to shift unhelpful patterns into healthier ones. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) builds on this by offering concrete skills in areas such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness — especially helpful when emotions feel overwhelming. Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, conversational therapeutic approach that helps you explore your own motivation for change, resolve uncertainty, and move forward with greater clarity and intention."
