About

Do you have anxiety, addiction, complex trauma, grief, women's issues, or ASD and/or ADHD? Or do you consider yourself to be neurodivergent? Do you often struggle in interpersonal relations? Let an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor meet you where you are and begin to explore those areas of concern with you. We will work to develop healthy strategies for coping, and obtainable changes. I offer a safe space where you can be yourself, with no judgement and no bias. I provide all-inclusive services to individuals beginning at 19 years old, and couples. Counseling can lead you to develop a healing path. Call or email today! I have been a counselor for over twenty-five years, working with issues such as C-PTSD, trauma, AuDHD, chronic health and addictions. I have 15 years of past experience in the medical field, with a good understanding of disease processes. I am trauma-informed and client-centered, using EFT, somatic therapies, and other tools in a safe, welcoming environment. I meet everyone where they are in their life process. Would you benefit from a judgement-free, non-biased, and safe space, with a seasoned, ND professional to help you move forward in an encouraging, empowering way? Contact me for a free consult. I am also experienced in working with other health professionals, first responders, and various license boards. Specialties: I work with clients who have experienced complex trauma and/or addiction issues, as well as the Neurodivergent population. I teach Somatic tools to begin the client's development of a working coping toolbox, with a focus on interception. Then begin processing, using a form of bilateral stimulation. Many clients express a decrease in symptoms, such as anxiety/panic attacks and depression. Credentials & Experience: I have over 25 years of experience with adults, older teens and couples, am trauma-informed, and I utilize somatic psychotherapy tools in sessions. I am licensed to see people within the state of Alabama through Telehealth and in-person, but currently only accepting Telehealth clients.

"When treating clients, I pull from Somatic psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems/Inner Child Work, DBT tools, and others. In Somatic work, which is where I primarily begin teaching clients coping tools, we incorporate body-oriented modalities such as breathe work, movement, and meditation, utilizing a bottom-up approach. This allows a connection with the body first, before addressing thoughts."
