About

All of us experience painful emotions at some point in our lives. In an attempt to make the bad feelings go away, we often pretend that we're not hurting. But avoiding what's going on inside can actually make things worse — and I've seen that truth play out again and again in my work as a therapist. When someone walks into my office, my deepest intention is to hold space that feels genuinely safe and purposeful. You have full permission to feel whatever comes up and to tell your story exactly as it is. That's not a small thing — for many people, it's the first time they've had that kind of room to breathe. In our work together, I pay attention to both the present and the past. Our formative experiences carry an immense amount of power, quietly shaping how we move through the world today. Bringing those stories into the light is often where real healing begins. My approach is grounded in narrative-focused trauma care and attachment theory, and I draw on modalities like EMDR, ART, and IFS — evidence-based tools that are especially supportive for those navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and C-PTSD. Whatever brought you here — whether you're carrying grief, chronic stress, relational pain, or something you haven't quite found words for yet — you are welcome. It would be a genuine honor to walk alongside you on the path toward mental wellness and wholeness. Specialties: I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing difficult emotions or having trouble in their relationships. My goal is to help you deal with the present day symptoms you are facing, while also helping you process some of the deeper feelings or past traumas that may be contributing to what you are experiencing today. I am experienced with supporting people through emotional struggles that can feel overwhelming, and I focus on creating a space where both immediate concerns and underlying pain can be explored at a pace that feels right for you. Credentials & Experience: Trained in Narrative Focused Trauma Care, I bring a specialized depth of expertise to trauma-informed practice. I also serve as a facilitator at the Allender Center, part of the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology — a role that reflects my ongoing commitment to rigorous, story-centered approaches to healing.

"My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in putting you, the person, at the center of everything we do. In your first session, we'll walk through your intake form together and take time to understand what you're hoping to gain from therapy — what feels most pressing, most painful, or most in need of change. From there, we'll collaborate to build a clear, personalized plan focused on the goals that matter most to you. To support your healing and growth, I draw on a range of evidence-based treatment methods tailored to your unique needs. Depending on what feels like the right fit for you, we may work with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a well-researched therapeutic approach that helps the brain gently process and release distressing memories or experiences that may still feel stuck or overwhelming. We may also explore ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), another evidence-based modality that uses guided eye movements to help shift the way painful memories and emotions are stored in the mind — often bringing relief in a relatively short period of time. Alternatively, or alongside these approaches, we may focus on building self-awareness and clarity through open conversation, reflection, and insight-oriented talk therapy — allowing you to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and patterns at your own pace. Whatever path we take, my aim is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported every step of the way."
