About
If you're barely holding it together on the outside while quietly breaking apart inside, I want you to know — you don't have to keep doing it alone. Whatever's brought you here, whether it's grief, the slow weight of anxiety, recovery from narcissistic abuse, or simply the exhaustion of trying to manage everything at once, I'm here to meet you with genuine compassion and care. I practice in Daphne, AL, and I hold a Master of Science degree along with my ALC and NCC credentials, working under the supervision of Anna Barksdale, MSCP, LPC-S. My work is rooted in creating a space where you actually feel understood — not judged, not rushed, just supported. When panic, loss, or emotional depletion feel like more than you can carry on your own, I help you slow down long enough to catch your breath. That's where real healing tends to begin. I draw on approaches like EMDR and Brainspotting alongside other practical, evidence-informed tools to support people navigating grief, ADHD, anxiety, parenting stress, and the complex aftermath of narcissistic abuse. These aren't one-size-fits-all methods — I work to find what genuinely helps you find steadier ground when everything around you feels uncertain. If you've reached the point where you're not sure how much longer you can keep going this way, please know that's exactly the kind of moment counseling is meant for. You don't have to figure this out alone. I'm here to listen, to walk alongside you, and to help you find your way back to a life that feels livable again — give me a call. Credentials & Experience: Carefully crafted workbooks aligned with my areas of specialty are available in my Etsy store, Willowbloomed.
"My therapeutic approach is rooted in the understanding that every client is unique, and your treatment plan will reflect that. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, weaving them together in a way that is tailored specifically to you and your needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the primary tools I use. This approach helps you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that may be holding you back, empowering you to respond to life's challenges in healthier, more constructive ways. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a therapeutic approach that builds practical skills in areas such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness — giving you concrete strategies to navigate difficult moments with greater confidence and stability. Solution-Focused Therapy is another method I bring into our work together. Rather than dwelling solely on problems, this approach directs attention toward your strengths and the solutions already within your reach, helping you move forward with clarity and purpose. Reality Therapy encourages you to take an honest look at your current choices and behaviors, and to consider how they align with what you truly want from life. It is a grounding, empowering approach that places the focus on what you can control right now. Finally, I integrate Mindfulness practices to help you develop a deeper awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations in the present moment — reducing stress and fostering a greater sense of inner calm. The overarching goal of my therapeutic approach is to empower you to recognize and embrace a powerful truth: YOU have the ability to change your life."
