I welcome a diversity of clients addressing a broad range of goals. However, my particular specialties are behavioral in focus including sport related performance, occupational performance, substance related problems, and communication in relationships. Specifically, I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to achieve these goals. ACT is about psychological flexibility — the ability to: Stay present under pressure, Make room for nerves and other feelings instead of fighting them, Detach from unhelpful thoughts, Clarify what truly matters. Change can seem daunting and hopeless but it is possible with help. If you would like to schedule an appointment or talk more about whether or not this is the right fit for you, please reach out. I will return your call or email within 24 hours. **Specialties:** I welcome a diversity of clients addressing a broad range of goals. "I primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. ACT focuses on increasing psychological flexibility by helping people develop skills to manage difficult thoughts and feelings such as anxiety, anger, grief, and beliefs rather than trying to eliminate them. ACT is not about being happy all the time, but rather about learning to live a meaningful life despite the presence of pain."
