About

I provide psychotherapy to individuals who are finding themselves stuck, lacking meaning or purpose, struggling internally with depression, anxiety, trauma, or difficult and unhelpful thoughts, and who are seeking active, goal-oriented therapy to help them live a full, rich, meaningful life. I specialize in evidence-based psychotherapies & mindfulness-based therapies for depression, anxiety and a number of other psychological issues. I also have extensive clinical experience in treating PTSD, combat/military-related trauma, and sexual trauma. I provide treatment exclusively through a secure video platform for added convenience and flexibility. Please visit my website to read more about my services and reach out via telephone or e-mail to discuss scheduling a free consult call. **Specialties:** I primarily practice proven, evidence-based psychotherapies, while also maintaining sensitivity and flexibility to newly arising issues during the therapy process. **Credentials & Experience:** I am licensed to practice psychology in the states of Missouri and Florida

"I often use mindfulness-based psychotherapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In this approach we use mindfulness and other techniques to change our relationship with our thoughts and emotions, rather than trying to simply eliminate them. In changing the relationship we have with our thoughts and emotions we are freed up to live a more flexible, values-consistent life."
