·AMFTAbout
I support at-risk youth, young adults, & their families in transforming difficult emotional experiences into opportunities to deepen their relationship to self and the world around them. I enjoy helping my clients get in touch with their own inner wisdom and explore how one can begin navigating from that place with more ease. I believe we are all deserving of healing and I strive to be accessible and affirmative in my work with clients. I invite and welcome clients from all backgrounds, sexualities, gender identities, and various relationship styles. I use a combination of mindfulness, creative expression, somatic-based theories, and parts work to help guide my clients through their own internal landscape. Utilizing a social justice lens and narrative therapy is also important in my work as we can begin to look at our identity & how our place within these structured systems affect us on different levels. My primary goal while working with others is to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to unwind and feel comfortable enough to show up as their true authentic self. With a trauma-sensitive, compassionate, and a nonjudgmental stance I will walk side-by-side with my clients as they journey into their inner world.
"I often use somatic techniques in my practice pulling from theories such as Polyvagal, Somatic Experiencing, and Hakomi Method. I tend to combine somatic practices with parts work, pulling from Internal Family Systems, and some creative expression work. Your experience will be integrative, body-based, trauma-informed, and client centered!"
