About
Life brings both challenges and opportunities for growth, and sometimes we all need a safe, supportive space to process and heal. As a Master's Level Clinician, I provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I support children as young as 4 through play therapy, offering a nurturing environment to explore emotions, build resilience, and strengthen family connections. I have a deep passion for helping clients navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My therapeutic style is collaborative and holistic, combining evidence-based approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with Christian-based counseling for clients who wish to integrate faith into their healing journey. I also offer grief counseling for individuals and families coping with loss. I meet clients where they are, whether through death, divorce, or other major life changes— in-office, via telehealth, or outdoors through walk-and-talk therapy for those who enjoy incorporating movement and mindfulness into their sessions. I accept most major insurance plans, including TNCare, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and TRICARE. **Specialties:** Counseling encompasses various specialties to address specific mental health needs. Key areas include ADHD, anxiety, emotional support, codependency, coping skills, depression, family dynamics, conflict resolution, self-esteem, and stress management. Each specialty provides strategies to enhance well-being and promote healthier relationships, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care **Credentials & Experience:** With extensive experience in the field of mental health, I have received comprehensive training in crisis intervention, empathy, compassion, active listening and a safe space to be YOU!
"Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Family Systems Therapy address relational dynamics, while Mindfulness and Person-Centered Therapy emphasize present awareness and self-acceptance that provide goal oriented interventions for positive results."
