I am most effective in connecting with clients. I see a therapist's role as supporting clients in their grief and helping them identify realistic expectations of self /others in a non-judgemental and affirming atmosphere. My undergraduate degree was Anthropology, helping me at cross cultural problem solving. Employment in Community Mental Health and inpatient hospital care settings I have worked with medical/psychiatric difficulties: Coping with complex medical issues, discharge after hospital admission, for both patients and their support persons. I help people forge stronger relationships in employment, intimate and familial settings, as well coping with traumatic past experiences. I accept what insurances pay Can reduce client co-pays if urgent.to do so.. I have a second office in Thompson for clients in nearby Ct. and Massachusetts. Aging, medical frailty/caregiver issues, relationship strain and spirituality barriers are my keen interests, along with pre- and post- organ transplantation and associated coping around medical and existential strain.Psychotherapy is a great form of good self care given COVID .
