Martine Saul

Martine Saul is a licensed professional counselor with a B.A. in Psychology from Point Park University and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. She has a certificate in Gerontology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also trained in EMDR for trauma-informed care. She has experience within hospice settings, and has experience and interest working with terminally ill people as well doing bereavement, grief and loss counseling with those people and their loved ones. Martine has worked in group practice for 9 years and currently works full-time in private practice. Martine is interested in working with people of all ages, including older adults with a range of mental and physical disabilities, doing grief work, and providing trauma-informed and identity-affirming care. She has experience with Outpatient therapy through Community Mental Health. Martine also co-facilitates a grief group in Pittsburgh. Martine's therapeutic approach is for clients to control the process, using Martine as a guide to help reach their goals. Martine wants to help people through life's transitions, hardships, and successes along the way. Martine can assist you in navigating grief and traumatic experiences in a safe and calm enough space that is affirming to all identities.
