Malaun Huff
Licensed Professional Counselor
·M.Ed, LPCAbout
I historically specialize in working with children and adolescents, but also have experience working with adults, families, and couples, treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, body-focused repetitive behaviors, family and relationship conflict, OCD, and behavior concerns. I take a person-centered approach to each client, ensuring that they feel comfortable and open in the therapy space. I focus on action-oriented treatment methods to achieve therapeutic results, but also recognize the benefit of incorporating mindfulness to process. Whatever works for my client is what works for me. I come from a large family of 8 siblings, so I've always been surrounded by relationships. I feel that it was essential to the person I am now and the work I do. I welcomes anyone who is open to improvement and look forward to taking on new clients. **Specialties:** I specialize in treating anxiety, ADHD, symptoms of Autism, depression, OCD, and trauma. My typical treatment is person-centered, trauma-informed, and includes CBT and mindfulness. **Credentials & Experience:** I recently passed my independent license exam and will be credentialed as a LPCC by the board.
