·MA, LPCC, NCCAbout
Hi! My name is Lorea Watson. As a therapist, my goal is to empower others through a strength-based, integrative approach tailored to each individual’s needs. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and being vulnerable. I specialize in trauma-informed care, working with first responders, and supporting individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and gut health–related concerns. I incorporate nervous system–focused interventions and Brainspotting to support healing and help clients move from survival mode toward greater regulation and well-being. Do you ever feel like you’re in survival mode all the time? For many people—especially those who’ve experienced trauma or chronic stress—this can show up as hypervigilance, exhaustion, emotional numbness, or running on autopilot. Living in survival mode doesn’t just affect mental health; it can also impact the nervous system and gut health. Awareness is the first step. Survival mode isn’t a flaw—it means your system is carrying past stress or trauma. You deserve care, not judgment. If talk therapy hasn’t been enough, neuroexperiential, brain-based, and somatic approaches can help your nervous system heal and regulate.
