Dr.Leslie Worth
Marriage & Family Therapist
·PhD, LMFT, CST, NCCAbout
My name is Leslie Worth and I am honored to work with individuals and couples/relationships, including nontraditional ones, in exploring the variety of challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to the challenge of differing levels of desire and sexual dysfunctions. I am a sex-positive and LGBTQ allied therapist, who makes every effort to provide a non-judgmental environment. Therapy provides a safe environment for you to explore challenges that we all go through in life and find the solution that fits you best. Our life's journey can be filled with detours and bumps along the way and, much like how we turn to GPS to help us find the best route when traveling, therapy can assist you in your life journey. I have always been drawn to people's stories; listening to discover their unique viewpoints and assisting them by being a sounding board. As a Clinical Sexologist (PhD), Certified Sex Therapist (CST), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) you can rest assured that you are receiving high-quality care. My approach is rooted in Existential Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Please visit my website to learn more about my practice and scheduling options. **Specialties:** The main concerns I assist clients with are navigating their sexuality, relationships, and redefining their overall values in life. Exploring and deconstructing pre-programmed messages. Treatment is individualized to the client's needs. My main theory frameworks are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Systemic Sex Therapy. **Credentials & Experience:** Sex Therapy Certificate: I completed 120 hours of approved continuing education courses and 20 hours of individual clinical supervision.
"I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work with clients. This approach allows us to use your own personal values to set therapeutic goals. We will develop your toolbox to better navigate obstacles and hurdles in the way of you living a value-aligned life."
