Laura Hylbert is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker qualified to practice independently of supervision. Laura has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of mental health and behavioral issues. As a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, she is passionate in assisting individuals, parents and siblings of children on the Autism Spectrum on their journey toward independence, self-awareness, understanding and acceptance. ADOS-2 testing/diagnosis offered. Groups available for: parenting, ASD/special needs sibling support, social skills, expressive arts, service projects She utilizes an eclectic approach implementing strategies from evidenced-based practices including Interoception, ABA strategies, mindfulness- based CBT, social skills, parenting support, play therapy, expressive arts therapy, client centered therapy, motivational interviewing, strengths- based approaches to empower clients in meeting identified goals.
