Maybe you’re struggling to find a sense of comfort with who you are. Or you struggle to get out of bed in the morning in the face of anxiousness or gloom. Does grief make it hard to find the joy in day to day life? Or, perhaps your relationship with your partner has become filled with conflict and tension and feels as if there is a void between you that you can’t cross. You can find a path forward to a greater sense of peace, confidence and connection with those you love. Transformation is not out of reach. At times, there is little we can do to change our circumstances, but the change you are looking for is very often found within yourself. Fear, hurt and doubt can be like quicksand and our struggling can make us feel stuck. There is freedom in accepting the things you cannot change and finding the strength, resilience and value that lies within. I consider myself to be a guide and a companion with you on that journey. I balance compassionate emotional support with honesty and I offer evidence-based approaches to help you heal and break free, whether you're an individual or looking for a place where you and your partner can find one another again. The first step you take is the path to your future.
"I use Emotionally Focused Therapy when working with couples to addresses how your emotions organize your interactions and to more effectively use those emotions to build better communication and connection. I also use IFS with individuals. We'll look at the different ways you attempt to navigate life and reduce inner conflict to allow healing and a greater sense of balance."
