Living in fight, flight, or freeze? Are you spiraling, experiencing decision paralysis, self-sabotaging, shutting down, dopamine seeking, or adrenaline dumping? Perhaps escapism or feeling different has left you feeling disconnected. Yet, rejection sensitivity, demand avoidance, or feeling others aren't there enough keep you from living the life you deserve. If so, you may be living in survival. Through co-regulation, where I see your strengths, and offer a judgment-free, supportive milieu, I strive to help those experiencing insecure attachment from childhood and relational trauma truly thrive, not survive. Through myself as a secure base from which to co-regulate, I utilize DARe (similar to NARM) to access the wounded parts within and offer a reparative experience for relational ruptures. EMDR helps you identify and resolve the root of issues driving current symptoms. Through movement, somatic therapy facilitates the discharge of fight/flight/freeze responses I see my job not as fixing you, but rather to help you reclaim your strengths that were never truly lost, yet obfuscated by trauma. Initiating therapy is hard, and effective treatment requires effort, but you don't have to go through this alone. Email me for a free 15-minute consultation. It would be an honor to hear your story and witness your growth. **Specialties:** I help clients experiencing all types of trauma, including relational trauma, sexual abuse, child abuse/neglect, disordered eating, and codependency, identify and process the root causes of issues that are driving current symptoms. Through co-regulation, we will work together to address these issues and help you achieve your fullest potential. **Credentials & Experience:** I am an LCSW in WV, PA, and MD. EMDR Certified Therapist. Somatic Experiencing International - Advanced level. Brainspotting Phase 2 certified. Level 3 Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experiencing (similar to NARM) at Trauma Therapy Institute -focus on anxious, avoidant, and disorganized attachment.
"I use Somatic Experiencing to address shock trauma, including sexual abuse. SE is a gentle approach that doesn't require discussing the past. Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience is used to address relational ruptures from childhood abuse/neglect and relational trauma. EMDR helps process past trauma driving current symptoms."
