·MCMHCAbout
I walk alongside adolescents and adults through life transitions, family challenges, and trauma, creating a safe space to explore and grow. I have a special heart for teens navigating complex relationships and pressures, and I support adults in processing intense emotions and past experiences. In therapy, I focus on understanding, building practical skills, and helping you feel confident making choices that honor your values. I work under the clinical direction of Michelle Pintado, LCSW, Clinical Director at Open Door Talk. At Open Door Talk, I offer a free 20-minute consultation if you’d like to learn more. I use a blend of person-centered therapy, CBT, inner child work, and IFS to help clients explore emotions, gain insight into patterns, and develop practical coping strategies. I understand that life transitions, family challenges, and past trauma can feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel heard and understood while building the tools needed to move forward with clarity and confidence. **Specialties:** I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. **Credentials & Experience:** I'm a pre-licensed therapist working toward my APC licensure. I hold a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma.
