Hi! I am a queer, Syrian clinical psychologist who specializes in ADHD/diagnostic testing, working with the LGBTQ+ community and treating folks dealing with OCD, minority stress, depression, anxiety, and phobias. I also provide gender affirming care for individuals 12 and older who are at various stages in their gender journey. I enjoy working with folks navigating gender identity exploration/transition, as well as sexual and racial identity development. I write letters of support for gender affirming surgery, and can typically get folks in within a week. I provide ADHD testing and diagnostic assessments for folks 12 and up. My approach to therapy is collaborative and meant to empower my clients in setting and reaching goals that are values-based. I employ an integrative approach and draw from various therapeutic orientations, but at my core, I am an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy practitioner. With regard to OCD, I have extensive training in exposure and response prevention. I hope to be able to assist you in your journey, whether it is in navigating the world as a trans, non-binary, or gender expansive person, an LGBTQ individual, a person of color, or if your goal is to decrease the impact of mental health concerns on your life and your ability to engage in your values. Please take the first step in reaching out for help! **Specialties:** If you are wondering if you have ADHD or another specific psychological disorder, I provide comprehensive testing for ADHD and other mental health concerns. I provide treatment for folks with depression, anxiety, OCD, and sexual concerns, and help people reconnect with their values and move toward the type of life they want to be living. **Credentials & Experience:** I'm a licensed clinical psychologist who sees clients in person in KY and virtually through PsyPACT in these states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, CNMI, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.
"I most often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice. This approach is values-centered and action oriented, which allows it to be tailored to your unique concerns, identities, background, and experiences.
